Mr. Jeffrey Wong is a practising urban planner in a renowned multinational firm. He is currently the Co-chairperson of Young Planners Group, the Hong Kong Institute of Planners, and Secretary General of Hong Kong Public Space Initiative, who has been organising various educational and community engagement programmes to promote the concept and importance of town planning and public space to all walks of life.

This A Salon introduces the ideals and works of IFChina Original Studio (青原色創新實驗室 http://www.ifchina.org/). Founded in Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province in June 2009, IFChina is the first non-profit art and cultural organization of its kind in China. Through film, photography, oral history and theater productions, it collects and shares the stories and memories of Ji’an city and its communities, families and individuals.

The coming Shun Hing College A Salon Documentary Film Screening and Sharing Session on March 9, 2016 (Sat) will present India’s Daughter, a documentary produced by British director Leslee Udwin. This film chronicles the 16 December 2012 Nirbhaya rape case and has stirred a controversy in India on many grounds.
